First State National Historical Park
Also known as the First State National Monument, the First State National Historical Park is found in New Castle, Delaware between Willington and Bear. Established in 2013 on the Delaware River, the site is operated by the National Park Service, and features plenty of onsite attractions.
Visitors of the First State National Historical Park may explore the New Castle Court House Museum, the Dover Green Historic District, and the Woodlawn Tract – open from April to October. The First State National Monument is also free to visitors.
