Brandywine Creek State Park

Established in 1965, the Brandywine Creek State Park is located near Wilmington, and contains the first two nature preserves in Delaware.

Visit this beautiful park to view the freshwater marsh, along with wildflowers and wildlife. The park's Tulip Tree Woods contains a 190-year-old tulip poplar stand.

Wear comfortable shoes for an enjoyable stroll along the 14 miles of trails in the park's 933 acres, while capturing pictures of the park's beauty. Visitors may fish, fly kites, go canoeing, play disc golf, enjoy picnics, go sledding, or even cross-country ski.
